  3. Mike performs a mock cornbread-festival welcome. He loves the bread part, then admits he did not get this year’s gig.

Timestamped episode commentary

Kill Tony #707 - James starts as the only panel guest, the show goes turbo, and Ari ends up helping from the panel. There is a lot more here than the running bucket count: 1. 4:41 - Tony’s antiquing habit becomes James’ “Antique Roast Show” pitch. The throne count also gets corrected from a guess of eight to Tony’s own claim of three. It’s a recurring bit, not an announced TV commission or an audited collection. 2. 9:24 - Martin Phillips says he doesn’t own the cats that visit his patio. Then come the water and the bed he leaves out. Later Jenna’s cat gets jokingly connected to Martin’s porch - a callback to the opening interview, not evidence the pets know each other. 3. 11:20 - The grip tester becomes an actual onstage activity, complete with a failed reset and start-button confusion. The announced readouts are 57.8 and 58.4 for Martin, followed by a 111 readout during James’ turn. These are source readouts with no independently checked units, not medical or fitness assessments. The racial grip-strength claim in the surrounding banter is not a supported statistic. 4. 27:14 - Jenna’s Bad Art Show is an art-history comedy podcast. James says he was invited but never got the follow-up; the proposed crossover is still in the future. His dislike of postwar art and Tony’s couch callback give the invitation its own comic detour. 5. 38:09 - Mike Poe is asked to demonstrate his cornbread-festival hosting voice. He adores cornbread, isn’t fond of corn, but loves bread. After the mock welcome, he says he didn’t get this year’s gig. That makes this a demonstration on Kill Tony, not footage from the festival. 6. 1:12:04 - The Billy Baxter’s search becomes its own bit. A supposed review reading turns into a description suspiciously tailored to James’ earlier story, and then Tony explains the “Billy Bass” search typo. The personal additions are comedy, not a reliable restaurant review. 7. 1:15:59 - Matt Rivas promises a stupid sandwich, then describes Spam, cheese, toast and mustard. The panel’s response: that sounds remarkably sane. The joke is the mismatch between the build-up and the sandwich, not a nutrition claim. 8. 1:39:55 - David Jenkins’ “I have grandchildren” sweater is a thrifted find. It doesn’t establish that he has grandchildren. The clothes discussion brings Tony right back to antiquing and shopping in person instead of online. 9. 1:41:15 - Turbo mode is an actual format change: names are pre-pulled, minute sets keep coming, and the slot chime replaces the usual pace. Some performers still get a brief exchange. When the little joke books run out, Matt Rivera receives souvenir water; the running “reusable” defense becomes another gag. 10. 2:06:08 - Ari Matti comes out while another bucket pull is being found. He isn’t the final closer: after his set, Tony asks him to sit beside James at 2:10:23. The episode gains another panel voice midway through its long finishing stretch. 11. 2:13:51 - Ari dislikes landing and then needing an airport train; Tony likes the extra train ride. It’s a small, clean difference in taste that produces a conversational bit without needing the claimed flight mileage to be exact. 12. 2:34:18 - Jeff Scott performs after an audience invitation. Much later Tony announces that Jeff’s name has now been drawn from the bucket. There isn’t a second Jeff set in the available source - the later moment is an acknowledgment of the coincidence. 13. 2:42:38 - Mario Zapata gets the standing ovation the room has been waiting for. At 2:44:50, Tony explicitly says Mario got them out of there, and the round ends. The host calls the episode record-setting, but the running ordinals change; this comment doesn’t turn those guesses into an independently verified lifetime record. Phrase check: “I love it” has 11 automatic-text matches and “absolutely incredible” has 4, across all voices in the stored captions. These are not Tony-only or independently audio-verified spoken totals; missing caption text can hide spoken phrases. William does not perform a set in this source. Luke’s proposed poem is not performed, and Nate’s restart is not an additional full minute. Which recurring bit worked best: antiquing, cornbread, or the increasingly unusual parting gifts?
